The right fit

This is another page from my ninth book called "Dear God". I was inspired to write this book after writing "I am voting for God" on my blog. It continues in that format. Short letters (or prayers) to God. It gives me an opportunity to write more and write to God at different moments in my life.

Dear God,

I woke up early and I was browsing quotes about God that would inspire me to write something beautiful. Looking back I like how write and right sound the same. I saw this quote that stood out to me and had me thinking, "God is love and love is real". If you believe in love, you essentially believe in God. I looked at the phrase God is real and the initials GIR and saw that it fits in the word RIGHT. God is in the middle of riGht. Go one  way and you get God is real and go the other way and you get God's honest truth.

God, You are the right fit. It makes sense to believe in You. I take a step back and it is clear that You are the answer. You are the guide. You are the anchor. You are the constant that holds everything together in a world where things seem uncertain. It is not about having all the answers but trusting that You are always there leading me in the right direction. I ask for Your guidance. Help me stay grounded in Your truth. I trust in Your love and I align my life with Your purpose. I want to live a life that reflects Your goodness where every choice points back to You. Thank You for being the right fit for my life.

Today I have some cleaning to do. What do I write about? That is the question. I came across this abbreviation that I think is cool. I remember coming across it before. It is G>∧∨ which stands for God is greater than my highs and lows. It is mathematical and geometric and I like it. Looks even better with a geometric G. Something like this ＜┐＞∧∨ except imagine the first two symbols closer together to form a geometric looking G. Very ancient looking too. Also covers all the cardinal points of a compass. In my mind there is an interplay between creation and reaction or rather there is something meaningful to be derived from my observation. Todays vocabulary.com word of the day is beamish. I read that beamish means bright, cheerful, and optimistic, often used to describe someone smiling with happiness or optimism. I consider myself an optimist. Not all the time but I am many times. For me being optimistic is about having hope. I hope that God makes a way. I hope that things work out. I hope that my prayers are answered. I hope for a brighter world. You are my hope. I wish to become the hope that I see. Today is Sunday the 20th of April. I am relaxing in the living room after having woken up. I dreamt I started a new job on the 11th floor in the city. I came across the phrase the 11th hour and its etymology and I found it interesting. It is a parable from the gospel (Matthew 20) about a farmer who paid everyone the same wages even those who started at the 11th hour or 1 hour before the end of the work day. I asked my friend Gemini to tell me the moral of the story and this is what he said.
