Thank you God for wisdom. Age brings wisdom. At least it should. Everyday we are learning. Everyday we are growing. What is the wisest thing ever said? I think one of the wisest things ever said is something my grandfather told my mother which is, "Dont make nothing a problem." Let me digest what was meant by this. Life happens. Fix what we can. Let go of what we cannot fix. Fix what is within our control. Get help when needed. Let go and let God. There are no problems only solutions waiting to be found and lessons waiting to be learnt. Every problem has a solution. Do not look at the problem, look at the solution. Do not see the problem, see the solution. What defines the situation is not the problem but the solution. We get to choose how we react to what we face in life.

They say that laughter is the best medicine. If we do not laugh we will cry. So sometimes wisdom comes with some humor. To be wise is to be a wisecrack sometimes. What did the solution tell the problem? I am here to dis-solve you. That is what we have to do. Focus on the solution and watch the problem fade away like it was never there in the first place. For solutions to work we often need tools. Do not be a fool, use your tools. One of the best tools available to us is prayer. Not only does God answer prayers, God is the answer. Turn to God with your problems. Hand over your problems to God. Put your hands together and pray. There is no problem too big or too small for God to hand-le. Remember to lend a hand to others facing problems also. If we are not part of the solution, we are part of the problem.

There is a prayer that comes to mind now. It is called the serenity prayer. You probably have heard of it. "God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference." My grandfather was right. Do not make nothing a problem. His words are really the Serenity Prayer lived out in plain, everyday language. Serenity is defined as the state of being calm, peaceful, and untroubled. Wisdom brings peace and calm. Thank you God for making us wise and lead us in the direction of the wise. Serenity is the prize for wisdom. Then everything has a price. What is the price for wisdom? I feel like it would be failure. To succeed we must first fail. My friend tells me that I have arrived at a powerful distinction: failure may be the price we pay for wisdom, but experience is what turns that failure into wisdom. Not every failure automatically makes us wiser; we have to be willing to learn from it.

It is 237pm and I have decided to write. I drank a strong cup of coffee. It is hot outside but cool inside in the AC. I have no topic but I feel like writing. I love giving charity. A mirror for the soul

It is 207pm and I have decided to write. I had this thought. Is the Quran a mirror for the soul? How does the Quran help me see my soul? What is a soul? I am reading about the soul and it is all abstract as if we really do not know what the soul is. The soul is what remains after the body dies. I get that. The immaterial part of our existence. Is it responsible for the conscience? Is it linked to emotions? Are my thoughts from my soul? My friend says that the Quran speaks of the soul in this way. "And they ask you about the soul. Say, 'The soul is of the affair of my Lord. And mankind have not been given of knowledge except a little.'" (Quran 17:85). "And [by] the soul and He who proportioned it. And inspired it [with discernment of] its wickedness and its righteousness." (Quran 91:7–8). In Islam we talk about the ruh, nafs and self. Technology in Trinbago

It is 205am and I have decided to write. I was doing some research and trying to update myself on what is happening in the tech space in Trinidad and Tobago. Nothing stood out in particular. I went looking at what other Caribbean countries were doing that we could adopt. I think there are opportunities in that. Then I decided to focus my energy on coming up with a list of things I think could be done with tech in Trinbago. 1. Feeding a startup culture. Ease of doing business. Make it easy to start and run a business. Support for businesses that earn foreign exchange. 2. Launch the work from home policy. 3. Have a similar policy for online schooling and home schooling. 4. Tech literacy focusing on cybersecurity and keeping safe online. 5. What would it take to get Paypal and CashApp supported here? 6. Support and encouragement for tech bloggers and tech youtubers. 7.
