I had won a Courts voucher and used it to buy a new phone at Courts. It costs $1099 and it was the last one on display at the Chaguanas branch. Here are some photos of it. Review to come another day.

MDTs Engagement Platform

I have not done a tech blog post in a while even though I have been keeping up somewhat with the local tech space. I was looking for the BOLD plan/document that Mark Lyndersay mentioned in his column and I was directed to this new looking and fancy website. https://engage.gov.tt/en/ It is the engagement front for MDT where they share updates and we can interact and give feedback. I love the idea. The first thing I did was sign up and the first thing I would want to do is share the devs.tt project with them. Also I see that there are 5 weeks left to comment on the BOLD plan. What is the story behind the broken kite?

This is a chapter from my fourth book called When hunger yearns The broken kite by Hassan Voyeau I had this idea. I would open the pen-up app and close my eyes and just draw random lines and then fill the random shapes formed with color. But what does my new art piece represent? I used Google lens and found that the closest match pointed to a gallery with a mixture of kites and vector art. Then it occured to me that it looks just like a broken kite. A kite that had gotten stuck in a tree and was pulled down but got broken and damaged in the process. It also kinda looks like a fish that got damaged too. Maybe it is a fish kite. I was reading about the history of the kite. The exact origin is unknown but it is believed that they were flown in China more than 1000 years ago. One suggestion is that a Chinese farmer tied a string to his hat to prevent it from flying off and that is how the first kite was born. Belove

I was scrolling through facebook and saw a post by the Martin Luther King Jr page that said be love. "Love is the most durable power in the world." Belove is so close to belief. Like belove could mean to believe in love if we wanted it to (belove = belief + love). I belove. Belove can also be combined from below and above. (belove = below + above). I love equations and how easily they can express something. This led me to researching the phrase "as above, so below" which I have heard before but never fully understood and researched. My friend Gemini tells me that the principle "As above, so below" originates from Hermeticism and suggests a correspondence between the heavens and the earth, the macrocosm and the microcosm, and the divine and the human. My Experience Setting Up FLOW's TG2492LG-FLO WIFI Modem

See video on how to change password - Change Flow Trinidad Wifi Modem Password - TG2492LG-FLO I had one of the early purely modem devices for about 7 or more years now. I connected this to my Linksys router and I was set. The router is old and does not have all the features of modern routers but it worked. Did a house call the other day and saw that the person had the WIFI modem with their AVS setup. Then it occurred to me that I should switch out my modem for a WIFI modem. That way I wouldn't have to worry about buying a new router when it was time for that. Made some notes after setting up my device and I am sharing it on my blog here.
